Effects start at the playhead. Freeze frame puts a 3 second still of the current picture into the video: add Old film, a Record scratch and a text for a "To be continued" moment.

Export plays your video through once, so it takes as long as the video itself. Keep this tab open and visible until it finishes.

Your video is not saved anywhere, so leaving the editor asks first. If you did not see that question, a browser extension may have hidden it. To close anyway, choose Close without asking, then close the tab again.
